Delivery FAQ’s

I am worried my order will arrive damaged

Our customers satisfaction is incredibly important to us and we strive to satisfy each and every customer. All our shipments are insured to the invoice value and In the unlikely event your order arrives damaged, get in touch and provide photos to show what items are damaged and we will replace them free.

Will my order arrive fresh?

All the items available on our website are guaranteed to arrive fresh.

How is my order packaged?

All cakes are placed in food safe boxes and then packaged in strong boxes, then labelled as fragile with stickers indicating the way the box should be held and transited.

Can my DPD delivery be delivered to a parcel shop?

DPD will send you an email notifying you they are expecting a parcel for you from The Bakery Outlet. After 7pm that evening you will be able to arrange delivery to your local parcel shop.

Can I track my delivery?

Yes, you’ll receive an email advising your order has been shipped together with the tracking number and link to track your parcel. We provide our carrier with your mobile number and email address so they can keep you updated on its progress.

Where do I track my delivery?

Why am I being charged European tax at checkout

All European orders are subject to additional taxes, to prevent border delays we pre-pay the taxes for you and collect these at checkout.

Can I cancel my order?

Should you need to cancel your order, please contact us right away. If your order hasn’t been baked we will gladly cancel your order, however once an order is baked and ready for delivery we cannot cancel your order.

Can I return my order?
